If you thought you knew everything there was to know about Kim Kardashian, you’d be wrong. The most famous woman in the world is on the cover of Rolling Stone’s July issue, which hits the Next Issue app tomorrow, and she’s revealed where she stands with some of the most notorious people in her life.

Kim on Paris Hilton

They “didn’t really talk” when Kim’s sex tape was leaked. “I probably would have thought, ‘Oh, my gosh, let me give her advice,’ but we had no communication. But our friendship had fizzled before that.”

On Caitlyn Jenner

Twelve years before Caitlyn Jenner’s groundbreaking Vanity Fair cover, a 22-year-old Kim found her stepfather wearing women’s clothing in their garage. She told Rolling Stone: “I was shaking. I didn’t know if I’d just found out his deepest, darkest secret, and he was going to come after me.”

Now-husband Kanye West helped her understand Jenner’s transition, especially around the time of their wedding. “I wasn’t sure if Bruce was going to be comfortable walking me down the aisle,” Kim remembers. “He had just had his trachea shaved, so I knew something was going on…[Kanye] obviously moves to his own drum. He lives his life the way he wants, a really authentic life, and he was like, ‘If you can’t be authentic and you can’t live your life, what do you have?’”

On the person who leaked her sex tape

She knows who it was. But “We’re in major confidentiality, so I can’t talk about it.”

On Kanye

She credits him with her high fashion makeover, calling it “amazing,” but thinks that she would have got there on her own eventually. And she understands his decision not to appear on Keeping Up With the Kardashians: “You can’t expect me to jump up onstage and start singing — it’s not what I do.”

On O.J. Simpson

Kim was living with her father Robert Kardashian in 1994, while he was acting as O.J. Simpson’s attorney. Simpson even moved into the house briefly: “It was surreal, with Johnnie Cochran and Robert Shapiro and all these guys having meetings at my dad’s house,” Kim recalls. “I definitely took my dad’s side,” she says, of the resulting tension between her parents (Kris was a close friend of Nicole Brown Simpson). “We just always thought my dad was the smartest person in the world, and he really believed in his friend.”

On Rob Kardashian

“It’s not that mysterious, what’s happening with Rob… He has gained weight. He feels uncomfortable being on the show, and that’s OK. Do I think he smokes weed, drinks beer, hangs out and plays video games with his friends all day long? Yes.”

Kim on Kim herself

“I believe that I am so much smarter than I’m portrayed.”
